The Village Deli is now Tulum Mexican Restaurant and they are now open! The transformation of the building is beautiful! They have a very extensive menu and are open for lunch and dinner! Stop by and check them out! Their ice cream window is now open too!

Aww local girl needs a home!

Please join us in welcoming Stella to our adoption program.

This 9-month old female Beabull (Beagle/English Bulldog mix) is in search of a new home. This local owner surrender found her way to us when her family realized they could not provide the best life for her.

She is fully housetrained and crate trained and loves to play with other dogs. She was raised with children, but she is an energetic pup so they should be sturdy on their feet. She has never met a cat.

She meets you like you are the most amazing thing she has ever seen. She may need some help in learning a less enthusiastic hello. She struggles to control her licker.

A little training and this girl is going to be a fun friend who will be sure to keep her family laughing and entertained.

Please share her story and help us send her home.

That's a wrap folks! Thank you to everyone who stopped in this week to share our final goodbyes! Our hearts are filled with gratitude for all of your kind words. It was an emotional day filled with laughter and tears. We are truly blessed and as we move onto the next chapter in our lives we take with us all our fond memories of life at The Village Deli.

All good things must come to an end. After 45 years of being in business, The Village Deli's last open day will be this Friday, 1/28/22. We are very grateful and blessed for customers that have turned into friends and a community that was more like family. We thank everyone who has walked through our doors and supported us through the years. The deli has been sold and we hope you welcome the new owners into our community and support them the way you have us. We hope you stop in this week. We would love to see everybody one last time. Again we will truly miss everybody and our hearts are both happy and sad. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the opportunity to serve you the last 45 years.

Yesterday about 4am our side window was smashed and someone entered the deli through the window and handed the cash register out the window to somebody else. We are just 1 of 8 businesses that were hit in the last few days. If you have any information, please contact DeWitt Police. We thank them for being there for us yesterday.
