I thank God for the blessing of you. I don’t have the right words that could ever express my gratitude for the constant flow of love, prayers, and thoughtfulness. These last couple weeks have been like nothing I ever knew could happen. My robotic hysterectomy surgery went great, I was healing and felt better than expected. Less than a week later I was taken to Jeanes Hospital ER. I was having a life threatening allergic reaction to an antibiotic. I was transported to Temple Hospital for treatment. The following week was intense, to say the least! By the Grace of God, I came home Friday. My strength is building back up as my, skin and body continue to heal. I don’t know what I would do without each of you. I love you 💕

It’s time to share some tough news. I have been diagnosed with a rare, aggressive uterine cancer. I will have surgery in two weeks followed by chemotherapy a month or so later. Unlike breast cancer the stage can’t be determined until the pathology report after surgery. I will be out for a bit to heal but, hope to keep a modified work routine throughout treatment. My amazing staff is already preparing to ensure business runs as usual. (I thank you in advance for your patience and support as we are still searching for a part timer to round off our team.) As a true believer in the power of prayer, I appreciate your prayers for strength, peace and healing throughout this battle. I know I’m a very blessed woman, as God has surrounded me in so much love through this special community, family and friends cancer doesn’t have a chance!

ORIGINAL POST: I was just making a delivery when fire truck sirens started whaling down Germantown! Looks pretty intense, prayers that no one is hurt and no one gets hurt!
