One year from now this is what Luke Fones is going to look like. And you want to know who he’s going to thank?

ME. But I ain’t gonna take any of the credit, because this is on him. All I did was make an encouraging post about him after he called me Garbage. (Probably one of the most offensive things you could call anyone)

Also…while working at a furniture store he sold furniture to someone and told them it was made in Michigan. The furniture was actually made in China…I’m guessing it was Mǐ Qí Gān and Luke was just misunderstood. Just like how he was misunderstood when he left me a bad review….or maybe he’s just a liar.

There’s this guy his Name is Luke Fones.

He left me a negative review so I went to check his profile.

It turns out he’s currently on a fairly successful weight loss journey. I can’t help but respect the guy.

He started at 487 pounds. Just a tad over what my entire family of 6 weighs all together. He’s down to 317.8 pounds according to his last update. Just another 110.2 pounds to go until he’s not as fat as me! Good job Luke! Keep up the good work Buddy!

Casey's people are such litterers.

Don’t want to be accused of littering? Don’t buy fountain pop from Casey’s.

Anyway. This is over at Jewel close to our East Moline location.

We’re going to give a free large Sausage or Pepperoni pizza to someone who drives a Honda and films themselves picking this Casey’s cup out of the bushes. DO NOT THROW THE CUP AWAY.

Bring it to me and we get our picture taken, that’s also part of the deal.

I’m very busy and won’t have time to look at messages so just come in and expect to wait 20-30 minutes for your pizza!

Also, I know exactly where this is at, so be sure to film the exact location. That way we don’t get anybody trying to commit fraud.

My phone is BLOWING UP 😂

Anyway, my old 70s Martin D-18 is in need of some attention.

Guitar Center is cool, but I like this place more. Not because it’s “local” but it’s genuinely better.

The owner Alan is what I would like to call “such a business owner”.

It’s as if he understands that having incredible customer service and fair pricing will result in loyal customers.

I do not know him outside of just a couple purchases I’ve made over the years. But just from those couple interactions I’m going to do my absolute best to stop at his place over guitar center any time I need anything guitar related!

Sorry I forgot to smile. I hate changing strings.

Been a while since I’ve done Ultra light gauge! Gonna try that to get some ridiculous bends in!

🍕 FREE PIZZA OPPORTUNITY AT BOTTOM OF POST 🍕

I’ve decided to turn off the AI for messenger.

I’m open to using it. But at the same time, I never want people to be fooled into thinking they’re talking to a real person and it’s been one too many times it’s given people incorrect info. And tbh I personally hate talking to AI for responses from businesses. If I want to talk to AI I’ll talk to one of my AI apps.

Right now we will stick with me just doing the best I can to respond to folks.

The most ultimate way to get to talking to me is by ordering a pizza, paying for it, and then giving a casual “Hey Joe when you got a minute can I talk to you?” Spending money at my shop is a great way to let me know that you might be worth my time.

I can’t tell you how many donation requests I get from folks who have never bought a pizza from me…drives me nuts. I’d rather buy a pack of smokes for a hobo. Or “Unhoused Person”…can we stop calling them that?

Hobo sounds way cooler.

I love people, I love conversation, I love our community. If you get ignored it’s not because I don’t like you or I don’t care about you. It’s because I have a family and a very busy pizza shop.
