Hellenic is a family business that started with modest beginnings and has since grown into a renowned icon for authentic Greek cuisine. Our most popular dishes are the open-faced Gyro plate and Chicken Souvlaki, both served on grilled pita bread, topped with cold marinated tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce. Another famous entree is our Whole Broiled Local Fluke, served coated with fresh garlic. parsley, and our famous homemade dressing. We also famous for our fresh homemade lemonade! We offerm many local wines served by the glass and we infuse our own raspberry vodka using our homemade lemonade. Hellenic Snack Bar & Restaurant is committed to creating a warm and familiar dining experience. As you walk through our doors, you will be greeted by welcoming faces of our family with mom on the register, dad manning the grill, and the kids and friendly staff working around the restaurant. Some traditions never get old!

Nearly 40 years ago, we started a little fall tradition here at Hellenic. Every year, we’d bring in a giant pumpkin from a local farmer and ask our customers to guess how much it weighed.

Over the years, it’s become something we look forward to every fall, and we’re happy to keep it going!

Come on down, take a look at this year’s pumpkin, and give us your best guess! Whoever gets the weight right will take home a $50 Hellenic gift card.

Happy National Coffee Day, folks. ☕️

Around here, we take our coffee pretty seriously.

Little Bean Roast Co. is roasted right here at Hellenic, in small batches using some of the freshest coffee beans we can get our hands on. From bean selection to roast profile, every batch is made with one goal in mind: a really, really good cup of coffee.

Stop in for an espresso, cappuccino, latte, or grab a bag of Little Bean to take home.

50 summers later, and somehow they still go by too fast.

As another North Fork summer comes to a close, we’re looking back on what has been an incredibly special season for all of us at Hellenic. Celebrating 50 years in business gave us a chance to remember where we started, appreciate how far we’ve come, and, most importantly, celebrate the community that made it all possible.

To everyone who has walked through our doors over the last five decades, thank you for being part of the Hellenic story.

Here’s to the last days of our 50th summer, and to many more summers together.

It’s back, folks! Feast Like a Greek has officially returned for the season.

Every Thursday night, we’re loading up the table with all the Greek favorites: gyro, souvlaki, fried calamari, spinach pie, dolmades, skordalia, tzatziki, pita and plenty more.

Grab your family, bring some friends, and come hungry. We’ll see you Thursday from 5pm on!
