Good evening!

We are well into the month of October and enjoying this cooler weather! How about you? And before we know it, holiday season will be right around the corner. Speaking of which, our plan for this Thanksgivings Day will be shared with you as we get closer to the date, but we'll likely open on Wednesday that week, as this will allow for you to pick up treats to be shared with your loved ones at gatherings. ✅ APPLE CRUMBLE TART: Before the fall season ends, we wanted to be able to have these on our shelf! Our almond based tart shell is paired w/ housemade caramelized apple, crumbles, and topped w/ vanilla cream.

Another busy week for us with life in general! How is your week going? Time flies is an understatement these days. Both of us just pushed past our mid-forties and boys are getting bigger by the day. It was great seeing so many familiar and new faces last week! Thank you all for for taking the time and stop in. We are working extra hard this week to fulfill orders and get ready for this Saturday, so please come by to say hello if you'll be in the area. ✅ FALL TREATS: Our pumpkin basque cheesecake is back for the fall season, as well as pecan & walnut tarts!

✅ CANELES: These little delectables are back this Saturday as well! We have a feeling these will go fast as they have been away for few weeks!

✅ 'CLOUD' MILK BREAD: Are you a fan of milk bread? If yes, you are going to love ours! We spent a lot of time and effort into perfecting our milk bread, and we believe time has finally come for us to share them with you! They are baked using tangzhong and a slow, two-step fermentation process that gives it the super soft and moist texture that you'll fall in love with. Limited quantities available.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello, everyone!

We wanted to share news that might leave you saddened and disappointed, but nonetheless need to be shared.

As some or many of you might know by now, we opened our second shop/concept called Toaste last year down the street. As with all good things in life, time is needed to grow and mature, and we are very fortunate and grateful to share with you that this new shop of ours has 'turned the corner', and we are really excited about what we believe it holds for us in both and short and long terms. However, as heads of the household leading a young and growing family and group of the most wonderful employees, namely Mindy and Kat, that we get to work with across both shops, we need to admit that it takes tremendous amount of work and commitment. While we are super fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to do what we do, we have been at this crossroads going back and forth for a while now and have regrettably made the decision to further reduce our operating hours to reassess how we'd like to move forward with life in general. There is more depth to this decision than just the reason(s) that we are sharing here today, but the essence of it is that we'd like to recalibrate and shift our focus with this thing called life. To say that this is an extremely difficult decision is an understatement, especially when we have a thriving business supported by the most generous and supportive customer base, but we believe it's one that is needed to be made at this time. As we have in many occasions, we thank you for your understanding.

With that said, please note that we are moving to opening only on Saturdays beginning this week. We are closing Thursdays and Fridays. This will allow us to take some load off our shoulders and work on providing you with better versions of ourselves and more selections of treats. Our deepest apologies as this would be such an inconvenience for many of you, if not all.

Thank you very much for your continued support and friendships.
