Pawsome Caturday Mews. Two Wrasslin’ Cats is so very pleased to collaborate with the Montville Animal Welfare Initiative this Caturday and Sunday in raising both awareness and funds for the facility’s new “Cattery”. As mentioned, all donations the New Wrasslin’ Cats Lounge Ambassadors collect on Sat. and Sun.will be given to the MAWI! In addition, Two Wrasslin’ Cats will match the weekend’s total to make everyone’s donation more impactful. 😺😺😺😺😺😺

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? THIS IS A CAT ONLY EVENT!

Montville Animal Welfare Initiative Inc. will be at Two Wrasslin' Cats in East Haddam on Saturday, August 22nd from 10am-3pm.

We will be selling ONLY CAT THINGS: Cat Toys, Cat Treats and grooming tools that can be used for Cats. We even have school supplies with CATS on them!

ADDITIONALLY, Two Wrasslin' Cats will be donating all of their proceeds from the Two Wrasslin' Cats Lounge on Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd to Montville Animal Welfare Initiative Inc.

All of the money donated and raised from this event will be used to improve the K9 Barrett Memorial Animal Control Facility CATTERY room.

Before you visit the Two Wrasslin' Cats lounge to play with the kitties and see the fur babies playing on the giant wheel how about ordering one of their delicious sandwiches? I always have the turkey wrap and Eric has the Pastrami Rueben on rye toast. Everything is delicious!

Hope everyone has recovered from the weekend storm.
As announced in an earlier post, TWC will hold a community paint party tomorrow around 3 after we close. We will be there for a few hours so don’t feel like you have to rush to be there at 3. The goal is to bring the mural to near completion (always something else to add) and we look forward to everyone’s brushstrokes. Snacks and drinks to be served! Hope to see you there.

Big Mews on this the eve of our 250th 4th of July!

First. Despite all the rumors and Taylor’s cat infatuation, the cats and I will not be attending Taylor and Travis’ wedding tonight. 😹

Second Two Wrasslin’ Cats will be closed on Saturday July 4th and reopen on Sunday July 5th at 9am

Third, and most exciting, We are holding a community mural painting party at TWC this Thursday July 9th starting at 3 pm. And you are invited! No age requirement. Paint brushes and refreshments provided! No age requirement! Everyone is welcome!
Jac Lahav and Aliyah Lacomb representing Public Art for Racial Justice Education (PARJE) are the mural’s creative directors for this community funded project that depicts an historical snap shot of people and places that add to East Haddam’s foundation, beauty and uniqueness. The inclusion of young figures and the title “You Never Walk Alone” commemorates the past 250 years and reminds us of the role we all play in bringing hope to future generations. Friday Mews. Two Wrasslin’ Cats will close at 11:45 AM tomorrow so that I can attend Senator Chris Murphy's Democracy 250 Summit in Hartford. With the USA’s 250th anniversary fast approaching, the summit’s key purpose is to examine the past, present, and future of democracy in Connecticut. The latter being a critical priority!
TWC will re open at 9:00 on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile enjoy this afternoon’s stroll by Kit and Andre! Such talent!
