On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today, and their courage will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends, let us also reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice and the families who continue to carry their legacy. We are forever grateful for their service, dedication, and love of country.

May we remember. May we honor. May we never forget.

Java & Fríends will be closed today so our staff can relax with their loved ones.

Some posts are easier and more fun than others to write... this is not one of those posts. It is with deep sadness but equal levels of gratitude that we say goodbye to one of the foundational pieces that has been such a big part of Java & Fríends for the past several years... our friend Gwendolynn.

If you have been to Java any Tuesday through Friday in recent years, you are aware of her kindness, her smile, her dedication, her customer service, her positive energy and her overall Gwen-ness.

What you may not know is that she has been responsible for a lot of the baking and creativity behind the scenes... a true asset to Java and to April... well, to all of us.

Thankfully, she has agreed to continue to support the business at a much smaller level, but we'll take it!

Join us in wishing Gwendolynn success in her new endeavors, and thanking her for helping make Java what it is. All the best, Gwendolynn... we'll miss you!!

So, this adorable little bunny stopped in the cafe today and ordered multiple espresso drinks. We asked him "why so much coffee?" To which he replied "I have a busy night ahead" with a coy smile.

He then asked what time we were open until and said he might see us later, he'll be around. Hmmmm.....

Introducing our first dirty soda! What's a dirty soda? Well, it starts with a soda base, this one is Sprite then you add a little syrup and a splash of half and half. This one is called Tropical Sunset. And because its March, here is our Lucky Charms latte. We also have Irish Potato, Luck of the Latte and Minty Mischief as our featured flavors.
