Alongside the ice cream, Jersey Junction holds onto pieces of the past — including the owner, Dan Nugent's, grandfather's collection of original newspaper and magazine covers from the Apollo 11 moon landing and the assassination of JFK. Two moments that shaped a generation, preserved right here in the shop.

Next time you're in, take a minute to look around — you might be surprised what you find on the walls. 🌙📰

Meet Morgan! She has been working in the shop for 2 years. When she's not working she is running cross country or at a meeting for student council or Science Olympiad. Her favorite menu item is a sundae with Michigan Pothole ice cream, hot fudge and Oreos. She loves talking to customers about their time at East Grand Rapids High School and how they've seen our community change over the years. Thanks for being a great member of our team Morgan!

Meet Ava! She has worked at Jersey for 5 years. When she is not working, she is often reading books, swimming and playing with her cats. Her favorite menu item is the Milky Way ice cream. Her favorite part about working at Jersey is smelling like a confectionery and seeing her favorite people come in and trying new flavors. Thanks for being a great member of the team Ava!
