Those tiny blisters are the indicators of solid fermentation action. Our sourdough bagels are made with our bread starter levain and given lots of fermentation time to develop flavor. *We'll soon have a weekly schedule for our bagels and breads so that you know right when to stop in for your favs!

This is a big moment for us and for all our customers, whose support has made our role in this program possible.

We all live just one moment, one unlucky event or circumstance, away from finding ourselves on the other side: from having enough to suddenly not having enough.

And it is the best feeling in the world to come practically full circle: from our own uncertain road, recipients of goodwill, to a place where we can help others through their own difficult moments.

We are so grateful, as I’m sure many people are, to everyone at the Sheriff’s Office, Waquoit Congregational Church, and all our customers for making this happen.

But especially to the dedicated team of new pizza makers in the program who will one day be very far from where they are now—maybe eating some pizza—and remembering what they did for others, even while in their own most difficult moment. And feeling pride in that.

Amazing.

If we didn't list your reason, let us know in comments!

Last weekend to vote!
https://oncapemagazine.com/best_of/ #//

Top Reasons to Vote Moto:
• Your kid worked here
...and now they’re willing to do dishes at home
• We brought back the Baja Street Corn pizza like you asked
• Best crust ever from dough that is clearly our obsession
• The fresh sourdough loaves
• The daily baguettes for just a dollar
...That are actually 93 cents so, with taxes, so you just drop an even buck and go
...And probably cost us more than that to make but are totally worth it just to do it
• The candy shelves that are fully taking over our interior space with some crazy things
• We were your go-to covid treat and you got butter and flour from our emergency grocery store
• We’re always trying to improve something even though these things often don’t work
...Like the time we tried selling plants. Or tried growing basil on the roof (definitely didn’t work)
• Our often-neglected little garden and the grapevines taking over the building
• The general vibe of authenticity that comes largely from a passion for way too many things
• Our love and appreciation of community
• We also love wild mushrooms and you do too
• The Roman pizza lunch specials
• Nicole’s panuozzo lunch specials
• The aroma of the Berbere wings on the way home
...or the Chicken & Waffle
• Whole milk mozz that is never, ever substituted even if it means we have to close
• We sponsored your kid’s baseball, soccer, or dance or something
• Shuffleboard and foosball
• The free arcade thing that keeps your kids occupied with games from 1987
• The Moto van and its cool new wrap
• The music (sometimes)
• Watching every employee’s different dough-throwing styles
• Aquatic on draft
• Our cool little homemade gelato machine
• The house-made cannoli recipe from our old cannoli shop
• The dough babies. So many dough babies.
• That one classic cheese slice that you grabbed real quick...
...that ended up being a small transcendental experience
