When you open a bar you know that you were going to make friends with a lot of people in your community.

To say Dave was a friend of this bar, and each one of us here is an understatement.

Dave was one of our first guests in the door and became one of our best regulars. He was the type of man that you couldn’t miss in any room that he was in. He was a tough old coot and he was a fighter.

Peggy, Steph, and Dan…. We know that you lost your hero and believe us he was one of ours too.

Rest well our friend, until we see you again.

25 years ago was a dark day but what happened afterword reminded us all what it meant to be American. 25 years ago we learned what true bravery was.

Raise a glass today to those we lost 25 years ago. Raise a glass to America.
