A passion for wine is really a passion for people, places, and the moments shared around the table. 🍷

Meet Casey Jones, Wine Director at Coa Del Mar and the thoughtful force behind our award-winning wine program.

For Casey, wine is a reflection of a specific moment in time and place, with layers of history, character, and complexity waiting to be discovered. But what he loves most is the way wine brings people together.

“My favorite part of wine is how it acts as a social catalyst and the shared memories we create around a bottle.”

In the restaurant, Casey’s goal is to make wine feel comfortable and approachable for everyone, whether they’re experienced collectors, trying something new for the first time, or simply looking for the perfect bottle to enjoy with dinner.

His vision has been to build a wine program with breadth and diversity. One that balances familiar favorites with unique gems, elevates the food, and creates memorable experiences for every guest.

We’re proud to celebrate Casey’s passion and Coa Del Mar’s recognition with a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. 🥂

We’re excited to share that Coa Del Mar has once again received Wine Spectator’s 2026 Best of Award of Excellence.

Each year, Wine Spectator honors restaurants with outstanding wine programs. This award recognizes places with great wine selections and a strong focus on pairing wine with food. Being chosen puts Coa Del Mar among top restaurants known for their world-class wine programs.

This award shows the passion and skill of our Wine Director, Casey Jones, whose leadership helps create one of the best wine experiences in the region. It also reflects the hard work of our whole team, whose dedication to hospitality makes every visit special.
