When we moved to Eagle Point, we fell in love with the quaint community immediately. But, we felt like there was something missing. We soon discovered exactly what that was, somewhere for people to gather, to read, study, laugh and chit chat. Building this coffee shop was a labor of love, and when I tell you that a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into it, I’m definitely not exaggerating. We didn’t know what to expect when we opened the doors but man, we were welcomed with open arms and so many smiles. We had the pleasure of hiring a few truly wonderful people who have turned into truly wonderful friends.
There have been a lot of ups and downs, learning curves, slow days and stressful nights. There have also been some devastating moments that not only broke us all but, showed us just how amazing this community is. It’s very hard for me to share this news as I consider all of our regulars to be good friends that I get to catch up with daily! After a year and a half of working 6-7 days a week, 12 plus hours a day, my mom and I are both mentally and physically exhausted. I have two girls and a husband that I’m missing so much time with. It’s with VERY heavy hearts we announce that we have sold the shop. We are confident that the new owner will make you all proud and keep you caffeinated. This next week will be our last week here. Saturday (the 6th) is our last day as owners. We want nothing more than to spend our last week with all of our favorites!! It has been my fear that people will call us failures but please know, we put everything we had into this little shop and we want to see you all continue to love it, as you always have! We really hope to see you all!
