Unfortunately, we want to apologize for not being open today Sunday through Thursday this week. Heat indexes at 105 all week meaning 120-140+ in the food truck! Ugh! With the extreme heat and unsafe working conditions inside the food trailer, we felt it was best to put our safety first. For us, our employees, and customers waiting in the heat. 🥵

Food trucks frequently close during extreme heat because the combination of hot griddles and confined metal spaces creates dangerously high internal temperatures. Operators make these tough choices to protect staff from heat exhaustion and illness. Yes, we provide water, electrolytes, we got two ACs (barely work), and cooling rags. Yesterday, our cook recently got heat exhaustion and even taking a hour break couldn’t shake it. I stepped in and finished the night out. It was hot and my hands were tryna cramp.. cooking and plating alone was tough! Stay stay everyone! To every food truck owner serving lunch while standing over a 350° grill in the middle of July—we salute you. Stay hydrated. Stay cool (as much as possible). And thank you for showing up, even when the heat is working overtime. ❤️

Thank you Maria Olson for the DELICIOUS LUNCH!! (She’s our local food lady here in Eagle Butte) We got the Chicken Adobo Pancit & Pork Kabobs Pancit and Lumpia! Usually get my Philippino fix from Savor Pinoy in Rapid City so this was refreshing!! 🤞🏼❤️

Anybody with cookin experience in Rapid City want to cook for me Saturday/Sunday? Debating! Dupree powwow is smaller than anticipated and with 3 food trucks it’s very very slow.. 😭

On a real note we only make it to certain places once or twice a year if that.. if you know the Mercys hype you know our customers will be out there waiting with a big smile on their face too! Ready to order tf up and get their taco fix in! Heck sometimes they even drive to different events to catch us. Appreciate yall so much! Sorry if you’ve been personally victimized by our long lines. We 🫶🏼 you!
