They were not perfect… but for a first attempt, I’m pretty pleased with these macarons! They were over baked, but still delicious… with a strawberry filling.
Keep alert - if I can figure out my ovens preferred temperature for these, they may appear in an upcoming menu announcement! 😎

Happy National Vegan Baking Day! Here are my most recent creations! I’ve hardly had any time for baking lately, and I miss it… but such is life. I will find my way back in time. ❤️

I will be making treats for Cockadoodle Boo at next weekend - come dress up, visit the Roos, and have some treats!! It will likely be my last event for a while again.

In order: 1-2: vanilla/chocolate marble cake with chocolate ganache filling and vanilla frosting; 3-5: moon cakes made for the autumn festival - my first attempt!! So much fun, but definitely a challenge. One of my daughters favorite movies is , so we had to give it a shot. They have an agave nectar outer crust with red bean paste filling; 6: cheddar jalapeño biscuits - jalapeños from our deck garden!; 7-8: Moana themed birthday cake - s’mores cake though! Chocolate cake, chocolate chip and marshmallow filling, and vanilla frosting. 9-10: cookies from the last Rooster Redemption event!

If you have been craving some sweets, some awesome human interaction, great music, AND meeting new amazing animals, then I have the perfect event for you!! Come join me and my entire family at this fantastic new take on a music retreat!

I will be making cookies GALORE!! Lemon cookies, cherry chocolate chip, and Neopolitan will for sure be on the menu - available in single cookies or cookie packs. If I have time (and energy), I’ll make some bars or other things too!

I haven’t been baking for sales lately due to COVID and mostly because these kids of mine don’t really allow me time to think - let alone bake! 😂 (Good grief do I love them though ❤️) But I will be opening up more in the coming months, and baking for events/pop ups specifically. Keep your ears, eyes, and taste buds ready for the return of Vegan Mama’s Bakery!

Hey Everyone!

It’s been a while!

I wanted to ask of you - if you haven’t already, please, go donate to Rooster Redemption for Give to the Max MN day! There is still time to get your donations in. Giving to the small sanctuaries is so important - did you realize that chickens are one of the most exploited animals in the agriculture world? Hens are genetically modified to produce more and more eggs, and the roosters are all killed. The Roos at this sanctuary deserve your help. They have beautiful souls, and are individuals who love. They are not the stereotype you so often see of roosters.

Through this terrible pandemic, we need to make sure the sanctuaries doing the hard work Every. Single. Day. are supported! They cannot have events to fundraise at their homes, they can’t have volunteers coming all of the time, they’ve lost out on networking events to raise awareness to the plight of roosters and other animals... Please - show your support through your donation. Any amount is welcome!

Happy Halloween, ya’ll! We’re about to get our costumes on for a candy hunt in our yard (not going anywhere this year!) but needed a good breakfast first - pumpkin pancakes in the shape of... pumpkins! And ghosts 👻🎃

The goodie boxes this week had a plethora of delicious baked items! Cherry banana bread, lemon bars, chocolate cake brownies, Apple blondies, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate chip coconut and peanut butter cookies, and an almond vanilla mini flower cake with a blueberry glaze! What kinds of treats do you want to see in the next variety pack??
