Home from a long day at the Desoto Ribs and Wing competition. Rib Cook Off Association

Extremely satisfied with my performance, this being my 1st official competition and with a new smoker thanks to Alex Higdon Equipment with a Smoke Daddy Inc. Pellet Pro.

I had my ticket called for wings with a 10th place finish out of 27 teams.

I did not hear my ticket called for ribs, but gained valuable lessons and understand I need to work on visual (I may have struggled with clean cut) and adding a bit more heat to the flavor.

I place 27th out of 38 teams...so not great but for 1st competition I'm happy.

Thanks for Todd Morse for joining my today and added much appreciated assistance and support.

Thanks to my wife Mickaleen Osborne for being supportive and patient with my BBQ passion.
