BIG NEWS! We're opening a Raw Bar in Boston's Seaport this summer!

In a few short weeks, we'll be bringing the magic of our Duxbury Raw Bar to Seaport as a temporary, outdoor experience. This means we have a few important things to share:

We excited to welcome a new public art installation at The Raw Bar: “Oyster Floats: Camera Obscuras for a Floating City”

Hunt around the Raw Bar for brass oysterplexes – small dioramas that display photographs of the oyster farming process - and take a peek inside.

Designed and fabricated by Randy Crandon and , both Master of Architecture students at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Randy grew up in Duxbury and helps out long-time friend and ICO farmer Ben Caliendo at the Howland’s Honeydrop Oyster Farm.

Like the season, these curious things of beauty won’t be here forever. Here from now ‘til the end of the summer.
