Yesterday’s travels once again demonstrated MB’s bravery, driving us over the Bay Bridge!! Then cocktails and lunch at one of our favorite stops along the water! Then it became a Twilight Zone vacation day when we ended up at a tourist ghost town!! But a great sunset and a great American Legion was worth it!!

From Paw Paw Tunnel to Prospect Peak and beyond!! MB is super daring, Lisa not so much…but we did it!! We’re calling this “The Vacation Less Traveled” since nothing is planned and nothing is the “normal” tourist spots!! Oh, and some award winning pizza and lovely drinks — just struggling to find places open on Mondays and Tuesdays!!

Ok, so MaryBeth overcame fear and walked across a walking bridge over 6 lanes of Interstate in Maryland mountains. She’s certifiably nuts!!
And we finished up Gettysburg tour, then ended up at the junction of the C&O Canal Towpath and the Great Allegheny Passage! Too bad we’re not biking!!
