It’s pear season! Our brand new Asian Pear Mojito is accompanied by the return of our Pear Chrysanthemum Fizz 🍐

For our second anniversary, we’re bringing back some of our most popularly requested specials 🥳

We’re so excited to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival! Mooncakes will be available ONLY on Friday 9/25 🥮

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, 100% of sales from Horchata will be donated to El Centro Hispano! Horchata will be available from 9/9-9/13. So much love to the Martinez-Cifuentes family for sharing their recipe with us! 🩵

community spotlight: Sunny ☀️

From our founder, CC:
“Sunny has been such a crucial part of the Bean Flower story, from helping teach Mahjong to new players to being the artist behind everyone’s favorite cats around Durham postcards, and even helping us with our photo prints for our recent anniversary show. We are so grateful to have Sunny in our community! He’s truly here for the pure love of Asian flavors, especially those he grew up with visiting his grandparents back home. Now, he channels his inner grandma in the love languages of fruits — being the only other person, just second to my mother, to randomly drop off varieties of fruits for our staff. We adore Sunny and hope you enjoy his creation, which he affectionately refers to as ‘his grass drink.’” 🩵

This Filipino dessert consists of house-made corn ice cream and corn milk, corn, corn flakes, and evaporated milk on shaved ice and finished off with a condensed milk drizzle 🩵

We’ll have supplies provided for collaging, decorating Pride flags, and making button and photo card holders :)

• Grandma’s House is back with a MYSTERY craft club 🧐🔍 join to be surprised with a low stakes craft for the group to create together every month! And if you’re interested in satin stitching, Grandma’s House will be back again to teach a workshop 🪡🧵

• At our upcoming K-pop Night, Shae will be popping up and vending 🌟🎵

• By popular demand, Angaea is back with a second Okara papermaking workshop 📜 Repurpose the okara fibers from our leftover soybean pulp and other organic scraps to make paper!

• Our art show in celebration of our second anniversary will be opening next Wednesday! 🌱 Beanie’s art show celebrates our team and some of our favorite memories 🩵

CORN MILK IS BACK! 🌽 We know so many of you in our community have been anticipating the return of corn milk, and we're so happy to finally be able to deliver it to you 🩵

Corn milk matcha/hojicha is also back along with Mais con Yelo (available starting 7/21)! A brand new dessert special, Aiyu jelly will be available starting 7/14 😌

ChaiNog and our Watermelon Basil/Mint specials are still available while supplies last!

team special: Alicia’s Red Bean Soy Milk 🫘

“I grew up drinking soy milk out of a can and it was one of my favorite drinks to get from the Vietnamese grocery store. Now I can make it from the very bean!!! And as a Vietnamese person, I love red bean in almost any dessert, so to be able to pair it with my favorite drink and it working so well together, easiest go to of my life! It’s literally dessert in a drink.”
