You’ve been asking. We’ve been working on it. And now the timing is right.

Meet the newest addition to the Guglhupf brunch menu: Stuffed French Toast.

Brioche, orange marmalade whipped cream cheese, fresh berries, real maple syrup and powdered sugar. A little sweet, a little indulgent, and very much our way.

Sometimes a new menu favorite takes a little time to get just right.

A big Danke schön to everyone who spent Oktoberfest with us yesterday! 🎉🩵🥨

The grill was going, the Bretzels kept coming, NC Polka Time Allstars had everyone moving, DJ Christopher Benson closed things out, and somewhere in the middle of all that there were steins raised, contests won, plenty of good food and a whole lot of laughing.

Days like this take a village, so we also want to give a very big thank you to our Guglhupf crew. There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to pull off a day like Oktoberfest, and our team showed up with plenty of energy and heart.

But really, this one belongs to all of you.

Thanks for coming out, bringing your people, dressing the part, dancing in the b**r garden and making the place feel exactly like we hoped it would.

We had a blast. We hope you did, too.

🎉🥨🩵 Today’s the day — Oktoberfest at Guglhupf in Durham 🩵🥨🎉

For the past few weeks, our team has been getting ready for this one. Bretzels have been baked, the patio is getting dressed up, the b**r is cold, and there’s that particular kind of energy around Guglhupf that lets you know something good is about to happen.

We’re here all day, starting at 8 AM with our regular award-winning brunch. Come start your Saturday with a leisurely brunch under the red umbrellas, then at 2 PM, we’ll turn the page and bring out our special one-day Oktoberfest menu. The Oktoberfest b**rs will be flowing all day, and from 2 PM on, we’ll have live music from NC Polka Time Allstars & DJ Christopher Benson , a costume contest, the Stein Holding Contest, bigger Bretzels and plenty of reasons to stick around.

No tickets. Just come as you are, bring your people, and settle in for a Saturday that feels a little different from the usual.

A few ways to get here: our parking lot is open, there’s street parking around us, and we have overflow parking in the two neighboring bank lots. The bus stop is right out front, too. And if you rideshare to Guglhupf today, show us your receipt when you order and you’ll get 10% off your food order.

We’ve been looking forward to this one. Hope you’ll be here to raise a stein with us.
