Wondering what to do for lunch? Wonder no more! Starting today you can order up some good juju from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and here's how -- our online order app makes it easy. Click the menu option on our website (www.jujudurham.com), then just make sure to select the dropdown for lunch specifically. We'll have it ready for you to pickup and enjoy!

The dining room will be closed for lunch service, but you're welcome to hang out on our patio, socially distanced, and eat. We'll even clear the table after you're done.

Lunch will be available Monday - Saturday, so we hope to see you soon!

As we prepare to reopen our dining room tonight, Charlie and the team have a message for you, our beloved customers:

"When people ask me what my favorite thing is about being a restaurateur, the first thing that comes to mind is that I love to throw dinner parties and, basically, my job means I get to throw them every night. I love that people choose to have their “dinner parties” at my places. Celebrate their special occasions with us. Celebrate their random Tuesdays with a friend with us.

"It goes without saying that these aren’t very festive times right now. And, as eager as we are to open our doors and dining room to all of you, we recognize that we’re dealing with an unprecedented set of challenges to best ensure the safety of not only you, but also our employees. All to accomplish the once-much-simpler act of serving you a meal.

"What I regret most of all about the measures that we will be putting into place is the impact they may have on the personal connection most of us cite as one of the reasons we do this for a living. I miss handshakes and hugs. I miss smiles (though I’m getting better at seeing them in someone’s eyes). These things feed me.

"So please understand that, as we dip our toe back into the service waters, we are not at all thrilled by many of the things we will have to do and ask you, our guests, to do in order to best ensure everyone’s safety. We recognize that these measures will diminish the personal touch we love to give, and we regret that more than you know. Just please understand why we’re doing this and that we look forward, so much, to the day when we can all relax a bit. Even as we recognize some of these things may remain as part of the 'new normal.'”

Friends of Juju,
Today we were notified that someone who was in contact with members of our staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing temporarily for professional cleaning and sanitizing.

We will continue to follow health department and CDC guidelines for maintaining a safe workplace, including daily temperature checks of every employee, all employees wearing masks, regular hand washing and careful cleaning of all regularly used surfaces, equipment, etc, using CDC-approved cleaners.

Please know that the safety of our employees and customers is our greatest concern. Thank you for your continued support and business, and we look forward to resuming operations soon.

Sitting at home on a rainy day looking for something to do? We'd love it if you popped over to Indy Week and voted for us for Best Small Plates/Tapas in the Triangle (the entire Triangle!)! And thank you to those who nominated us. We made the list with some venerable local favorites, and we're proud to be there. It's our honor to serve you and we appreciate the love!

Thanks to Feed the Fight - Durham, NC, tonight the nurses and doctors at Duke will receive some good juju in the form of 80 MEALS of Kung Pao Chicken, Kung Pao Soy (for the non-meat eaters) and Bolognese!! We even sent over mini chocolate mousses. If you don't know about Feed the Fight, please check them out. They are collecting donations and then purchasing meals from local restaurants to deliver to our frontline medical workers at area hospitals. So not only are they feeding some incredible, selfless people but they are also supporting small businesses like ours. THANK YOU Feed the Fight and everyone who donates!
