A Southern chain with just 90 locations across 3 states just beat McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Burger King and Wendy's for best fast-food breakfast — for the fourth straight year.

Biscuitville took the top spot in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, with biscuits made from scratch every 15 minutes using a three-ingredient family recipe passed down from the founder's grandmother.

The chain has no microwaves, no pre-cooked ingredients and no plans to rush its expansion beyond North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia anytime soon.
