As we approach nearly 20 years of being Backyard BBQ Pit here in Durham, we want to pause and say thank you truly, from the bottom of our hearts.
To our loyal customers, our neighbors, our community: none of this exists without you.
From humble beginnings to multiple locations… from being featured on Man v. Food to countless magazines, articles, and stories told around our tables every milestone has been a shared one. We’ve experienced highs we never imagined, and we’ve also faced challenges that tested us. Through it all, your support, encouragement, and belief in us carried us forward even in moments when we needed it most.
We have never taken a single visit, recommendation, or kind word for granted.
As inflation continues to affect food costs, rent, and small businesses everywhere, we stand shoulder to shoulder with other locally owned businesses in our area. We remain committed to doing what we’ve always done: serving quality food, honoring our roots, and keeping our doors open as long as possible for the community that built us.
