Cake Genius

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. 50% NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE retainer fee of entire order is required to secure date on orders $100 AND ABOVE. It is understood that your retainer holds that date and NO OTHER DATE.
2. Orders under $100 MUST be paid in FULL to secure your order.
3. Cupcake orders are minimum $90 unless accompanied by a Cake order $100+
4. ALL final balances are due 1 WEEK prior to d

ue date. It is understood that you are responsible for paying balance on or before that exact date and not a day later (unless otherwise previously discussed and placed in writing). A reminder will not be sent, it is to your knowledge and mine that if the balance isn’t paid then your order will NOT be filled.
4. ALL last-minute orders placed within 2-weeks of delivery date are required to PAY IN FULL at time of booking no matter the amount and are subject to a RUSH CHARGE FEE of an added 20% of total balance due.
5. There is a strict NO REFUND POLICY(unless I agree the fault is Mine).
6. It is understood that, if you give me creative freedom and you are NOT satisfied with the end result……NO REFUND will be given.
7. Instructions on transporting and storing the cake will be provided at pickup/delivery. NO REFUNDS will be given to orders who fail to follow the instructions.
8. Once the order has left the premises or Baker has delivered the cake to the venue, Baker is NOT responsible for ANY issues that occur (to include temp changes inside/outside, cakes being moved once setup, guests touching the cake, etc.).
9. Once Cake has been delivered & set up, IF there are issues to the fault of structure, wrong flavor, etc. & Baker agrees fault is that of the Baker, feedback MUST be given WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY and 75% or more of cake MUST BE RETURNED to Baker. The only person I will converse with and make ANY changes to an order will be the person who contacted me and is in charge of payment.
10. Because my skills constantly grow, Quotes are valid for 24 HOURS.
11. Invoices are valid for 24 HOURS. All unpaid invoices will be canceled, and a new price quote will be sent, unless previously discussed and placed in writing.
12. Once the deposit is PAID, it confirms that I READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS LISTED ABOVE.
13. ALLERGEN WARNING: Items made and prepared may come in contact with these ingredients: Milk, Dairy, Eggs, Soybean, Wheat, Gluten, Tree nuts, peanuts. - Those with these allergens will order at their OWN RISK and Cake Genius is NOT liable for any health related issues in the consumption of purchased products by either you or any guests associated with any products purchased with Cake Genius.
