Things I have learned in the first few years of opening a restaurant.
Never buy the cheaper brand of equipment with out doing in-depth research and really checking the fine print on warranty!! Especially when it’s a daily use range for all your baked goods, sauces and sides!!!
Always get to know your equipment sales reps at the restaurant supply you frequent (they have really really good deals up their sleeves compared to listed price) Thank you Shana and Linda at Standard in Burque! Thank you for having the stove out of the crate, put together, high altitude adjustments done, and casters on with locks! You ladies rock my socks!! 😍
Also.. get to know your local equipment repair guy! Justin is the bomb!!
After a mad dash trip to Albuquerque and a drive home doing 50 mph pulling a trailer with my little car up 550…. The new stove is in the restaurant! Bonus…. There is a griddle!! In addition to adding smoked turkey we will be adding burgers in the next few weeks!! Awwww yeah y’all!
It was a bummer to be closed Friday and Saturday.
(Knock on wood) All my equipment is now brand new or completely upgraded sooooo this should be the last equipment issue for awhile!! We will re open Wednesday at noon!!

Starting next week we will be adding Smoked Turkey Breast to the menu.
I only did 2 as a test run today. They are already gone.
