Updated Hour Hours Are Here

We've heard how much you enjoy having Tempo open throughout the day, so we're keeping our daytime hours and adding Friday evenings to the mix!

Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

We'll also be open late on select nights throughout the week for special events, live music, community gatherings, and more, so be sure to follow our page for updates.

Have a special event, club meeting, group outing, or gathering you'd like to host at Tempo? We'd love to talk. We're happy to explore opening outside our regular hours for groups and private events, so give us a call!

We’re honored to be part of something pretty special at Tempo!

The American Legion Riders Gold Star Post 676- Durand, Illinois and the Dakota High School Art Department have teamed up for an incredible “Art on Guitars” silent auction fundraiser supporting veterans at Medina Nursing Home. 🇺🇸

One beautifully hand-painted guitar is on display right here at Tempo through July 11th, and the talent from these local student artists is absolutely amazing. This one feels like a song painted directly onto wood... piano keys, swirling skies, bold color, pure creativity. 🎹🎶

Stop in, check it out up close, and place a bid if it speaks to you. Supporting young artists and local veterans in one project? That’s the kind of harmony we love to see.

And while you’re out, check out the other guitars displayed at businesses around town too. Each one is completely unique!

Huge shoutout to Durand High School Spanish teachers Jennifer Heatherly and Cathy Korwin for bringing learning out into the community with a fun Spanish scavenger hunt around Downtown Durand!

Students used their Spanish skills to interpret clues, explore local businesses, and search for answers throughout town. What a creative way to connect language, culture, problem-solving, and community support all in one activity.

We love seeing our downtown become part of the learning experience. Great job, Bulldogs! 💙🐾

Today we have the honor of celebrating some of the real MVPs of our community—our teachers 💛

With the help of the Durand Parent Teacher Committee (PTC), we rolled out our Poppin’ Star Lemonade Bar—
Grab a cup.
Add ice.
Pour the lemonade.
Pick your flavor.
Top it with boba.
A little sweet. A little fun. A whole lot deserved!

Thank you to the PTC for helping make it happen, and thank you to our teachers for everything you pour into the next generation. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re so grateful we got to celebrate you.

🚧☕🎶 Something new is brewing at Tempo... and it’s bigger than coffee and icecream!

We’re working on the next chapter of our outdoor space, creating more room for community, connection, and good times right here in Durand.

Think live music, special events, gatherings, laughter, and all the little moments that makes a coffee and icecream shop into a hometown hub.

Tempo has always been about more than what’s in the cup or cone. It’s about the people around it. Stay tuned... the lot is getting louder, livelier, and a whole lot more fun.
