We are a new taproom currently being constructed in DuPont, WA. Follow here for updates on our opening timeline!

Although we will have an abundance of great beer & wine, we won’t be able to keep you fed. However, not having to deal with our amateur cooking will work in your favor, because intend to offer a delicious rotating selection of local vendors (who are much better at the cooking part than us 😜).

We’d love to know any and all great local food trucks and pop ups in the area that you’d like to see at the taproom. Tag ‘em here!

Our collab from Mount Olympus Brewing Company has arrived! 1912 is not only a great beer, but also has an amazing story behind the name & label that is tied to DuPont. We are so excited to share this beer with everyone soon! 🍻

The question we get asked most about the taproom: “What kind of seating are you going to have!?” If you or a loved one has been personally victimized by a backless, small seated metal stool, we would like to introduce you to the South Sound Taps seating selection…

Both seats feature a sturdy wood frame and plush Italian leather seats (Ancestry DNA testing was done to confirm). Full back support, because at South Sound Taps we always have your back. And if baby got back, we got you covered. With 18” wide seating, you can be comfortable for hours while we keep the cold beverages coming. For our friends who might need some help reaching the top shelf, we have reinforced metal bars for foot support on our stools. Because you should be hanging with your company, not hanging your feet.

We know no future progress posts will be as important as this one, but please stay tuned for more updates to come anyways! 🍻

Happy 250th Birthday, America!! 🇺🇸 Excited to be celebrating you with the town of DuPont today. We hope everyone’s apple pie is sweet, hot dogs are perfectly grilled, firework show is awesome… and of course the beer is cold! Cheers from South Sound Taps 🍻

Had an awesome time tasting with one of our favorite wineries from this side of the mountains, Sparkman Cellars out of Woodinville. We were also introduced to a winery recently added to the Sparkman family, Sigillo Cellars from Chelan.

When we open you’ll be able to catch some of the great summer wines we tasted, and can definitely look forward to an event or two down the road with them! 🥂
