A little shop update

We want to take a minute to explain something that may help avoid any confusion when it comes to messages, orders, and deposits.
We are currently understaffed, which means there are times when we simply cannot get to messages as quickly as we’d like. We are doing our best to keep up with everything happening at the shop, but sometimes messages get missed or we just don’t get the chance to respond right away.

**If you message us and don’t hear back, please call the shop.** Especially if your question is time sensitive or you are trying to place an order.
And when it comes to deposits, if you know your deposit is due on a certain date and you haven’t received a response to your message, please call the shop rather than assuming we saw it.An unpaid deposit means your cake is not guaranteed.
We also typically ask for a weeks notice when taking cake orders so we can make sure we know exactly what we’re working on and can give every order the attention it deserves. We absolutely try to work things in when we can, but unfortunately, that isn’t always possible.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through the staffing situation. And if you’ve been looking for a job and would love to work with us… we may just need you! We need someone who has some flexibility with their schedule and isn’t tied to having to leave at a specific time every day. Our hours and workload can vary especially as the holidays are approaching, so flexibility is important. If you’re dependable, willing to work, and think you might be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for supporting our little shop. We truly appreciate every single order and every customer who chooses us.
