🎱 POOL WITH A PURPOSE🎱

This one hits especially close to home, and we’re asking our friends, family, and community to show up in a big way.

At just 40 years old, Brian Rokita, a highly decorated veteran, Purple Heart recipient, devoted father, and member of our local community, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his son, Kellin.

There are some losses no family is ever prepared for, and while we can’t take away the grief that comes with losing a father far too soon, we can do what this community does best: show up, rally together, and take care of one of our own.

⏰ Players arrive by 12:00 PM
🎱Scotch Doubles Pool Tournament
💵 $10 nonrefundable donation to play
🎟️ Raffle Baskets + 50/50

As always, our Scotch Doubles format will pair one professional or league-affiliated player with one amateur/novice player. Teams are randomly assigned the day of the tournament. So whether you shoot every week or barely know which end of the cue to hold, you are welcome to play!

Most importantly, the purpose of this benefit is simple and specific. To raise money to directly support Kellin in the wake of the unexpected loss of his father. ALL proceeds raised through this benefit will be dedicated to helping him.

Can’t play? No problem. Come have a drink, share a few laughs, throw some raffle tickets into a basket, take a chance on the 50/50, make a donation, or simply come through the door and show this family that they are surrounded by a community that cares.

Brian served his country with distinction. Now, we have an opportunity to show our gratitude by showing up for his son.
To Brian, rest easy now, Soldier. We have our assignment. We’re honored to help the Rokita family look after Kellin.

To our community. We’ve seen time and time again of what this community is capable when someone needs us.

Let’s show Kellin just how many people are standing behind him.

🦎🎱 POOL WITH A PURPOSE! 🎱🦎

Join us this Sunday, August 9th at 12:00pm for our monthly Scotch Doubles Pool Tournament, benefiting CDE Exotics!

CDE Exotics is a local educational facility dedicated to reptiles, conservation, and hands-on learning. This is a great opportunity to support an organization that’s passionate about educating our community while helping care for some truly incredible animals.

Tournament Details:
🎱 Registration/Player Check-In: 12:00pm (All participants should arrive by noon.)
💚 $10 nonrefundable donation to play (100% goes to CDE Exotics!)
🎱 Scotch Doubles Format: each team will consist of one amateur player and one professional/league-affiliated player. Teams will be randomly drawn the day of the tournament.

🏆 Prizes will be awarded to our tournament champions and runners-up!

Even if you don’t play, we hope you’ll stop by! We’ll have:
🧺 Basket raffles
🎟️ Additional raffles
🎉 Great company, great competition, great cause!

CDE Exotics plans to bring several of their reptiles for everyone to meet throughout the day! For the safety and comfort of all animals, please leave personal pets at home. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

🎱 Pool with a Purpose is back at it again folks! 🎱

Join us on Sunday, July 26th at 12pm for another Scotch Doubles Charity Tournament!

This month’s beneficiary is the Frank Burke IV Foundation, an incredible organization that donates 100% of the proceeds raised throughout the year to our local Make-A-Wish chapter. Over the past four years, they’ve raised more than $160,000 and helped grant 30+ wishes for local children. 🩵 (peep the photos to see what they accomplished in the last year alone!)

🎱 Tournament Details
-$10 nonrefundable donation to play
-NO entry fee for spectators!
-Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate! Whether you’ve been playing for years or have never picked up a cue, we’d love to have you.
-Please arrive by 12:00pm on July 26th so we can randomly pair our league-affiliated players with amateur players.
-Scotch Doubles is all about having fun, meeting new people, and cheering each other on!

We also encourage everyone to make a day of it! Even if you don’t want to play, come spend the afternoon with us. Watch the tournament, cheer on your favorite teams, donate a basket, try your luck at winning one, grab some food and drinks, and help us support an amazing cause. Every way you choose to participate helps make an impact.

Whether you’re sinking eight balls or just sinking into a barstool to watch the action, there’s a place for you at Kuzzins. Come for the fun, stay for the laughs, and leave knowing you helped make wishes come true for local children. 🥹

To order: Venmo Stacy and include sizes in the memo. Shirts are 15 dollars! This is the only way orders are confirmed.

🎱❤️ Pool Tournament Fundraiser for the John Ritter Foundation ❤️🎱

Join us on Sunday, June 28th at 12:00 PM at Kuzzin’s Cafe for a day of pool, prizes, and supporting an incredible cause!

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health, the charity that Holly Reddock is proudly supporting as she trains and fundraises for the 2026 NYC Marathon with Team Ritter.

The John Ritter Foundation is dedicated to funding research, providing education, and raising awareness about thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection, helping to save lives through prevention, early detection, and treatment.

🎱 Tournament Details:
• Scotch Doubles Pro-Am, teams randomly assigned day-of
• Double Elimination Format
• $10 non-refundable donation per player
