So, I closed our account with GrubHub and here is why: When they don't send a driver for an order before we close for the nights business, I get stuck with the made product obviously...but their policy of giving refunds to customers over and above the purchase price is a nice gesture, if it was THEIR money. I learned tonight that a Refund of $45 to a customer for an order of $26.45 would be charged back to ME, on top of being out for the sales and being stuck with the product. It was time to end this lopsided partnership with GrubHub. By the way, I would only receive $16.45 for that order of $26.45 under normal circumstances as well. I will be closing examining the policy of our remaining services of Doordash and UberEats and will make sure they don't have such a policy in place as well.
