HAPPY FRIDAY YโALL! ๐๐๐๐
Tomorrow marks the 2 YR anniversary of Hurricane Helene, a storm that brought an enormous amount of water into our little restaurant and left us with nearly four feet of flooding.
That was one of the most devastating times in our lives, but through all of it, my Mom and I also saw something we will never forget: how much our community truly cares about us.
After the flood, we were closed for four months while we worked on repairs. Then, on December 4, 2024, we were finally able to partially reopen, operating with nothing more than our pizza oven. Little by little, we bought equipment, rebuilt, and put our restaurant back together one piece at a time.
My Mom and I are truly, from the bottom of our hearts, grateful for the enormous amount of support we received during that time. โค๏ธ
2025 was a struggle. There were so many moments when we looked around and remembered everything we used to have. It taught us to appreciate things we may have once taken for granted. But we kept going. We kept showing up. We kept rebuilding.
And in December 2025, we finally opened our doors again as a fully operating restaurant.
Our menu may not be as big as it once was. Our restaurant may be smaller than what we used to be able to service. But, one thing that has never changed and will never change is our service to you.๐
We remember the faces.
We remember the regulars.
We remember the delivery addresses.
We remember the pickup orders.
We remember the families who sat at our tables.
We remember the people who came through our doors during the hardest time and continued to support us.
AND THAT means more to us than we could ever put into words.
We are warm heartedly and forever grateful for every single one of you. Thank you for believing in our little restaurant, supporting us through the rebuilding, and continuing to walk through our doors.
Two years later, weโre still here. And we are still serving you. ๐๐๐๐
From my Mom and me, thank you.
Truly. โค๏ธ
