Alright y'all- Ive got ✌🏽tickets to Saturday's game at the Big House 💙💛

I can't make the game due to this pesky thing called work, so my loss is your gain.

Im selling these bad oscars for less than what I paid- $250 takes both.

Seats are in the end zone, with a clear view of the field (see photos..pink line is where they are located)

A couple of things to note-

1. If you can get a ride, I strongly recommend having someone drop you off and pick you up. Dundee Transport is like our local version of Lyft, and I highly recommend 💯 if you dont have a friend or family member available. If you decide to drive, and dont want to cough up a kidney to pay for parking, park a few blocks away, and walk, or take the shuttle from Briarwood Mall. PLAN YOUR ETA accordingly..pack a lunch, snacks, beverages, arrive EARLY, find your parking spot and do some people watching.. it's definitely an experience!
And FFS.. wear comfortable shoes.. there is a time and a place for heels and cutesy s**t, the Big House is not it.

2. You can not take a bag or purse.. only what fits in your pockets. Cargo pants/shorts and hoodies are your friends. Take a hoodie even if its hot- you can use it to stow your s**t and use as a cushion for your ass on the hard af bleachers.

3. Concessions are on a cashless system. Debit or Credit only. Be prepared to pay $7 for a bottle of water.

Tickets are digital- you'll have to show them on your phone so they can scan them to enter the stadium.

Talk about a whirlwind of a week! 😅

We’ve had an event almost every day, and today we took on a doubleheader — first with a Celebration of Life Graze at Big Rock Farm while Chef held down the fort back at the shop, preparing a trio of pastas for a Baby Shower Pasta Bar in Monroe.



A Pasta Bar that I took exactly ZERO pictures of, because sometimes, that’s just how things roll. 🤷‍♀️

I also met with a new distributor this week who is hooking me up with some pretty amazing things that give a whole new meaning to .

A former chef himself, he understands the importance of quality over quantity and knows that convenience doesn’t have to mean compromising on either. Even better, it’s a Michigan-based company, which means we get to keep our business local — something I’m always happy to support.💙

Tomorrow is Chef’s birthday, so we’ll be taking a much-needed time-out from work to celebrate and enjoy a meal that, for once, someone else has to make. 😂🎂

Then next week, we hit the ground running we’re putting together a Soup, Salad & Breadstick Bar for one of our corporate clients on Wednesday, before heading back into the kitchen to prep for another busy weekend.

Friday takes us to Cement City, where we’ll be setting up a Soft Pretzel Station 🥨 for a Happily Ever After party, followed by Water to Wine Venue and Hall on Saturday to help celebrate a happy couple tying the knot. 💍

Which brings us full circle to Sunday, where someone else can do the entertaining because I'm heading to LCA with one of my bff's to see the man, the myth, the legend — Eric Clapton — take the stage with Jimmie Vaughan. 🎸🎶

Because, as Jack Nicholson taught us in The Shining...

All work and no play...

Well, we all know how THAT played out. 😬🪓

Oh, and if you're in the MOO-d for something fun to do tomorrow, make sure to head on over to the Dundee, MI Farmers Market between 10-2 for the Back to School Bash and visit Gus, the mini cow 🐂and a variety of vendors who will be there ready to help make your first day one for the books! 📚🎒✏️

Our current lineup includes:

▪︎ Mongolian Meatballs with Broccoli — sweet, savory and just a little sticky. Perfect served over rice.

▪︎ Swedish-Style Meatballs — tender meatballs in a rich, creamy gravy. Serve over a pile of mashed potatoes or buttered noodles and call it dinner.

▪︎ Parmesan Garlic Meatballs — because garlic + Parmesan is rarely a bad decision. Serve them as an appetizer or pair with pasta for an easy entrée.

▪︎ Bourguignon Meatballs — our spin on the French classic, with tender meatballs in a rich, savory red wine sauce with mushrooms and onions.

▪︎ Greek Meatballs — available in all-beef, beef & lamb, or chicken. Pair them with lemon rice, pita, tzatziki and a little Greek salad and suddenly they're a whole meal.

Serve them by themselves with picks for a light appetizer, build them into an entrée with rice, pasta or potatoes, or add a pan to your Graze + Go, Gather & Graze or custom Grazing spread.

Playing around with a little something new — Goat cheese and carmelized onion ravioli with asparagus in a cacio de Pepe sauce.

The black peppercorn in the sauce mellows the tanginess of the goat cheese, and the addition of some fresh cut asparagus and a couple sprigs of basil give it a pop of color and extra little bite that it needs.

Patrick's pasta emporium a seasonal special perhaps? 😉🐐💙

When it comes to cake, I'm kind of a take-it-or-leave-it kind of girl. 🎂

I'm not a huge fan, mainly because it tends to all be the same, no matter how you slice it.

I get a lot of requests asking if I make cakes, and the answer is typically no.

Not because I don't like them, but because they just aren't my strong suit—and if there's one thing I don't want to f*ck up, it's someone's cake for their special day. That's just way too much pressure.

I know plenty of people who make kick-ass cakes that I can happily refer you to, so unless it's a Carrot Cake (because Carrot Cakes are my jam 🥕🎂) I'm probably not your girl.

Dessert, however? Now we're talking.

Because when it comes to something sweet, I think variety is where it's at.

As we head into our 8th year, its amazing to see how far we've come. Having opened our doors just six months prior to the pandemic, we managed to not only survive, but thrive as a small business - and it's all because of the amazing people who have followed and supported us along the way by stopping in, placing an order, booking an event, liking and sharing posts and referring us to your friends, families, colleagues and communities- there is truly no better form of advertising for a small business, than word of mouth- so from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. 🫶🏾💙

Im telling you- Big Rock Farm is not your average "Barn" venue- the indoor space goes far beyond rustic chic, and drops you straight into fairytale vibes. It's neutral pallate allows their clients to bring their own vision to life and the outdoor patio area offers a stunning backdrop that overlooks a lily pad studded pond, while the most beautiful Belgian horses (who Im absolutely smitten with 😍) quietly graze in the background.

We will be setting up a Grazing station for a shower there this Saturday, where the guest of honor, family and friends, will gather to nibble a variety of small plates, including artisanal deli sliders, salads, seasonal fresh fruit and our house-made Rosemary Bacon Gnocchi soup.
