We don’t just grow coffee; we engineer ecosystems. At the heart of our craft is polyculture farming—a sophisticated, regenerative practice where our coffee cherries thrive in the shade of towering macadamia trees.

With success in macadamia and coffee’s symbiotic relationship - the soil retaining it’s moisture and improvement in nutrient quality - it executes a dual-purpose victory: we secure a second source of income for our now macadamia-trained farmers, and we ensure the long-term preservation of Kenyan land.

This level of harmony between premium quality and environmental stewardship—that is the true spirit of Earth Day.

Your challenge today: Try to find a cup fresher than this 🫵
There’s no such thing as ‘stale beans’ in our coffee — we roast in small batches every single week. We’re talking about that intense, fruity profile and vibrant acidity, the exact way Kenyan brews should be experienced.

Check for yourself at the next farmers market. We’ll be at 📍Hollywood Farmers Market this Saturday, from 8AM to 1PM.

🏆🇰🇪 Champions are present.

Francis and Charles didn’t just bring coffee to the World of Coffee — they brought a legacy. 30,000 bushes. Decades of resilience. One unwavering commitment to excellence.

Champion, our latest roast, entered into the design competition. But behind every bag is something bigger: a farmer who started with 150 coffee bushes at age 17 and refused to quit when the world told him to. A founder who refuses to let Kenya’s finest be anything less than front and center. That’s the reason behind our bold looks. Fire Lily Coffee is 100% Kenyan, and it deserves to be seen.

It’s April, which means we’re officially in the sweet spot for real good Kenyan coffee 🌼🌳

The Kenyan coffee we’re brewing right now is the “peak” stuff—the primary harvest from the central and western regions in Kenya that wrapped up back in November and December. We wait for it to land in Oregon, and to the roast it goes. The timing is perfect.

As a single-origin roaster, we’re picky about that timing. We skip the smaller “fly crops” where the weather is hit-or-miss and the volume is low. Instead, we wait for this window, when the quality is highest and the flavors are at their most vibrant. If you’re looking for that classic, high-clarity Kenyan profile, this is exactly the month to be drinking it.
