Meet Stephen!

Stephen was born in Hutchinson, Minnesota and lives in Alaska for 10 years while cooking at many different seafood restaurants. His brother went to school in Duluth and recommended the city, and we are so pleased he did!

In Stephen’s free time, he enjoys watching movies, scuba diving, cooking for fun, and collecting Pokemon and magic cards. His favorite thing about working at The Boat Club is getting to work with many high quality ingredients he wouldn’t normally have, as well as working with his team and head chef on the line!

Stephen brings many things to the table, such as his ability to stay calm under pressure and great communication. He never misses a beat! Thank you for everything Stephen. You rock! 🤘🏼

CALLING ALL GOLFERS! Join us for our 2nd Annual Boat Club Classic this August at Ridgeview Country Club! ⛳️🏌️

The need continues for infrastructure upgrades at our home - the Spirit of the North Theatre. We are in need of an all-new theatre sound system. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit these much-needed upgrades, as well as our 2026-2027 productions! With your generous support last year, we were able to purchase all new theatre lighting, and a new light board!

Golfers are $185 per person, with a team of 4, which includes 18 holes, cart, lunch, and dinner! Corporate teams are $1,000 for a team of 4, plus a hole sponsorship.

Meet Edward!

Ed grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and moved to Duluth a little less than a year ago to explore new possibilities. He loves hiking, listening to jazz, and watching the Twins in his free time. Not many people know Ed is also bilingual and is secretly a pool shark!

Ed enjoys working at The Boat Club because of the amazing team. He is a hardworking and always comes to work with a great attitude. He never fails to make everyone smile. 😊 Thank you for all you do, Edward!
