Hi friends! We miss you! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Speaking of missing.. if you’re longing for our delicious Reuben, come get it at Boat Club Restaurant and Bar on Superior Street in the Fitger’s building - first floor!

It’s the same amazing Castle Danger Brewery Cream Ale braised corned beef served on toasted marble rye with melted swiss, crisp sauerkraut, and house made 1000 island dressing. Choice of side and house made pickles.

Boat Club serves brunch every single day from 7am to 3pm!

Are you already missing those amazing Swedish Pancakes in Duluth? Hey - we’ve got AMAZING news for you! This Vanilla Bean original (26 years!) is now available at our sister restaurant - Boat Club Restaurant and Bar - starting today!!!

Boat Club is located in the Fitger’s mall on Superior Street, and the restaurant is on the lower level, lakeside! Park on Superior Street and go down one floor to the restaurant. They open every morning at 7am!

If you’re heading north, you can always get Swedish Pancakes at Vanilla Bean - Two Harbors every day also!

Our last day as owners of Vanilla Bean Duluth…

Thank you to everyone who has supported us the past 6+ years, whether it’s dining at this location or supporting one of our other two restaurants. Thank you for believing in us when we decided 6 years ago to expand and open a Duluth location. Many people doubted us. But we persevered, kept going when the days got tough, and even made it through a global pandemic (126 days closed…).

Please make sure to keep supporting small, locally owned restaurants. They are so crucial for our cities and towns, and those who depend on them for their livelihood.

Breakfast isn’t gone in Duluth! One of our other restaurants, Boat Club Restaurant and Bar in Fitger’s on Superior Street, serves breakfast every single day starting at 7AM! We are even going to have a few signature Vanilla Bean items added to the menu!!!

And don’t forget about our landmark restaurant - Vanilla Bean - Two Harbors! Going strong for almost 26 years now! They are open every single day from 7AM to 3PM serving the same exact menu as Duluth.

It’s been great seeing so many of you these past couple of weeks since we announced our upcoming closure this Sunday. The outpouring of support has been comforting as we navigate this change.

You have 5 more days to visit us in Duluth before we close the book on this chapter. But don’t fret - it’s not goodbye forever, it’s goodbye for now! Please continue to come visit us at Vanilla Bean - Two Harbors right on Highway 61! It’s the same great menu, and many of the same great faces you see in Duluth are making the move to Two Harbors!

After 6 great years, we wanted to let you know Sunday, February 25th will be our last day in business at Vanilla Bean Duluth. We were approached by two young entrepreneurs looking for a restaurant space of their own and have since worked out an arrangement for them to take over our space and bring their new, exciting vision to life. When they are ready to announce their plans, we will make sure to share and give them all the support they will need.

Our landmark restaurant in Two Harbors is still going strong and will continue to operate just as it has for almost 26 years. All your Vanilla Bean gift cards are always valid at our Two Harbors location, and we look forward to seeing you on the Shore! As for us, our company now has the opportunity to refocus on our other three businesses: Vanilla Bean - Two Harbors, Boat Club Restaurant and Bar and JayBee Travel.

Thank you again for 6 great years in Mt Royal and to our amazing staff! We wouldn't have lasted this long without your continued support and encouragement. We hope to see you all again soon!
