These are pecans that a friend brought back from Georgia last fall. We kept them in the freezer and shelled them all by hand. These same pecans are toasted and met up with some fresh peaches, also from Georgia in our peach pecan buttermilk scones. We will have them Saturday from 10-3:00 or until we run out. July 11 5401 E. What a gorgeous day! Last week was too hot and humid for us, but today makes up for it! We are happy to be guests again for July and August for the Second Saturday Marketplace with Nice Girls of The North. 5401 E.Superior st. From 10-3:00 July 11

Such strange weather tonight!

A morning bun has been my favorite baked good since we lived in California. We start with homemade laminated croissant dough. A yeasted dough is layered with butter, rolled many times, filled with cinnamon and brown sugar, baked and lightly sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Just like croissants, morning buns are best the day they are baked, but warmed up they are buttery and yummy! They also freeze really well wrapped in foil. Available Saturday from 10-3:00 or until we run out. 5401 E. Superior in the Lakeside neighborhood.
