At the strike of midnight, this page will no longer exist.
You will not expect posts and updates about our offerings at Devour Cafe.
We will only be found by discovery or knowledge of what we do.
We are not an enigma, we are not closed, we are also not specialized for any special group or cultural engagement.
Our only mission is to make the best coffee and food we can for those who seek our offerings.
We will maintain our hours between 8 AM until 3 PM
Should we not be open to the public? It’s not because we’re reject seekers or interested people in what we craft, it will be because there are other facets of life that need attention.
In any case, it is most likely an option for anyone seeking what we craft to be afforded the time and attention to fulfill your interests.
Our page will be removed because the operator of the café seeks to be less engaged in social media. A business page has to be tied to an individual page and the individual running this page no longer wants to be publicly part of Facebook.
Too much of Facebook is filled with fake media and data monitoring.
It is a systemic problem that has caused a lot of divide in society and hasn’t overall been very healthy for the public. The individual running the page is feeling the need to disengage with the advertising and fake content running rampant on social media especially Facebook.
One more time, this is not a closure of Devour Cafe, nor does it indicate any changes in how it operates, this is simply to notify our connected public audience that we are leaving Facebook because of abroad and foreign sharing of data.
I hope to see our friends and patrons continuing to support our local small business. Thank you so much to those who read this.
