In August, neighbors in The Courtyards at Jerome Village delivered a donation that pushed their Neighborhood FoodShare total past an incredible 10,000 pounds 💚
Led by Jeff and Helen Davidson, the group began last fall with porch pickups and has remained committed from day one. While many groups might see 10,000 pounds as a finish line, this crew sees it as a halfway point on the way to their next goal.
During a recent visit to the Dublin Food Pantry to see firsthand how their donations are put to work, the group learned that the pantry was running low on cereal (an important staple that helps many of our neighbors start their day). They immediately went to work, collecting more than 250 boxes of cereal, weighing in at an amazing 385 pounds.
Now, they’ve resumed their monthly collections with their sights set on 20,000 pounds...and even more participating households!
