It’s such a beautiful day! ☀️💛 It would be so nice to be able to stop by Downtown Grub, grab some wings and a fresh salad, and see all the familiar faces we’ve come to love. 🥹❤️

We truly miss the food, but even more than that, we miss our customers—our Downtown Grub family. You all have meant so much to us.

We’re so excited for this new chapter and all the possibilities ahead. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us, and how this next adventure will continue to bless not only us, but our entire community. 🙏🏾✨

A few months ago, we shared one of the hardest updates we’ve ever had to make. On May 1, we turned in the keys to the building that had been home to Downtown Grub. We didn’t know exactly what God had planned next, but we chose faith over fear and trusted Him every step of the way.

Today, we’re beyond excited to finally share the good news…

Downtown Grub has a new home in Downtown Pulaski! ❤️

And let us tell you—God exceeded every expectation we had.

Our new location will allow us to:
✨ Seat over 100 guests
✨ Offer a private event space for meetings, birthday parties, baby showers, family gatherings, and celebrations
✨ Host special event nights for our community
✨ Continue serving the same home-cooked meals you’ve come to know and love
✨ Introduce a full bar to make your dining experience even better

What once felt like a setback has truly become a setup for something greater. Every prayer, every encouraging message, every share, and every person who supported us during this transition reminded us that we were never walking this journey alone.

To everyone who prayed for us, believed in us, and never stopped supporting Downtown Grub—thank you. We are incredibly grateful, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home.

This isn’t just a new building. It’s a new chapter. A bigger vision. More opportunities to bring our community together over great food, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

My mom is out of town as she travels a lot for the postal service now. She just so happened to be in the same town our cousins are currently in for a revival. The minister of the night had no clue of any of their circumstances.

During our final week in our old building we had an employee quit and then our dad had medical issues in which caused our parents to spend a few days at UVA hospital. Not to mention I (Nichole) had a vacation I paid for before we knew things with Downtown Grub would change, and we had to get commercial equipment stored very safely so it stays in top shape until we are in a new building. Leaving Domanick and very few staff for the last week.

As Many of you know this is a family thing for us. This video is from the church service last night. My parents were at the right place at the right time. ( listen to the pastor talking to them) They are constantly praying for the business and we are having faith. If this ain’t God reminding us to have faith!! He is gonna work it out!

To our family, friends, loyal customers, and incredible employees:

We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your continued support, love, and dedication. As of today, April 30, we have officially exited our building and turned in our keys.

Over the past two months, we’ve been actively searching for a new location that truly feels like home for Downtown Grub. This transition has been an emotional roller coaster—not only for us, but also for our employees seeking new opportunities and for our customers who have come in to share their support and kind words during this time.

While we wish some things could have been handled with more professionalism and transparency, we are choosing to move forward with grace and faith. That said, we do want to clarify a few things. We’ve heard the speculation and rumors regarding us and the building, including questions about our equipment and the condition in which we are leaving the space.

To be clear: we are not closing permanently, and we are not selling our equipment. We were raised with strong values—respect and integrity—and we would never damage the space. Claims like these are deeply hurtful and do not reflect who we are. Through it all, we have remained calm and respectful, even during difficult moments, including being served an eviction notice during lunch service despite our efforts to communicate proactively and professionally.

We wish all the businesses in the building nothing but the best moving forward. A special thank you to our wonderful neighbors at Henritze Dental—we highly recommend them—and to the church beside us, we wish you all the best as you prepare for your transition in the coming months.

Thank you again for standing by us. We also extend a special thanks to the County and Town of Pulaski offices for their continued support during this time.

As for what’s coming next at our previous location, we’ve heard a mix of possibilities, from a medical office expansion to a potential restaurant. Ultimately, that decision belongs to the building owners, and we’re sure they will share updates when the time is right.

We are keeping our faith strong and trusting the path ahead. We look forward to serving you all again soon. This is not goodbye—it’s simply “see you later.”
