Had a great time making some exclusive specialty pizzas for a packed house last night at Uncorked Wine Tastings . It was so great to see so many of our pizza friends show up, and to meet and serve new pizza fans! Thanks to everyone who came out to make it a fabulous evening of Italian wines and pizza!

🥳🎂🎉 A very big special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our head chef and pizzaiolo Nick! The man who makes it all happen, creates the recipes we all love, sources all the great ingredients we use, takes care of the team and the equipment, burns the candle at both ends, an awesome owner, amazing friend, and even better father and husband. We love you Nick!

Make sure to tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY if you see him today, or write him a silly birthday message in your order notes! And tell him you saw him on social media—he LOVES it!!

Our Favorite Customer Of The Week this week is Willie the Great Dane, who not only takes the record for the largest dog we’ve ever seen at the shop now, but also brought us a very special art piece gift we’ve endearingly called ‘Puppy Blinders’ to display on our gallery wall! It’s absolutely lovely and fits in perfectly. I mean seriously, is there a better collection of eclectic and locally curated dog and pizza art anywhere else??

Thank you Willie and Kent for visiting us and for upping the vibes by like 10000% in our goofy lil pizza spot!

And as always, all visiting pets always get a FREE Pupperoni Cup (if they partake!) and stainless steel cold water bowls are always available for a little hydration break, just ask your server.

At Black Dog Pizzeria, Tuesday is our Monday!

Beginning of the week prep means a lotta flour in the air, dough on the table, veggies cleaned sliced and prepped, and Erick getting early onset arthritis from rolling out and sheeting so many fresh pizza crusts.

A lot happens behind the scenes and Team Black Dog are doing the hard before the first pizza even hits the oven but we’re on it—rested, stocked up, and ready to put all the pizza into all the faces!
