We are incredibly honored (and honestly a little blown away) to have received 7 Tri-County Best nominations this year.

To everyone who took the time to nominate The Garbage Pit—thank you. Your support means more to us than any award ever could.

We also want to be upfront about something. While you'll likely see businesses promoting paid voting links or purchasing ways to make voting more convenient, that won't be us. We'd rather earn every vote the old-fashioned way—by serving good food, working hard, and treating our customers like family.

Whether you've been with us since day one or just discovered us recently, thank you for choosing us for lunch, dinner, ice cream, or just because you had a craving. Every visit, every share, every recommendation, and every kind word has helped us grow.

Our Reynoldsville location will be closed on Wednesday, July 15th as we take the day to celebrate our son Trent's 18th birthday with family.

We appreciate your understanding as we enjoy this special milestone together. ❤️

Due to the extreme heat and unexpected staffing shortages at our DuBois location, The Garbage Pit in Reynoldsville will be CLOSED today.

Today we're taking the day off for a very important reason... ❤️🎂

The Garbage Pit Reynoldsville be closed today so we can celebrate one of our favorite little guys, Ronin, on his 6th birthday! 🚜

Six years ago, this wild, funny, tractor-loving little boy came into our lives and has kept us smiling (and on our toes!) ever since. Days like these are exactly why we work so hard—because making memories with our family is something we'll never get back.

Thank you all for understanding while we spend the day making our birthday boy feel as special as he truly is.

We'll be back Monday, but today belongs to Ronin.
