Unfortunately, the air quality is deteriorating as forecast, and as a result, we have made the decision to close for the day. Be well, and we hope to serve you all tomorrow!

Hi folks! Despite our fortune to have inside dining, should the forecast air quality Thursday afternoon result in the below anticipated level, we plan to be closed for the day, and reevaluate for routine hours on Friday.

Although closing for a day isn’t ever an easy call to make, we believe having one less reason to expose yourselves to this hazard may better help our community stay well, and we want for everyone’s safety. Please stay safe, and look for an update around noon tomorrow.

(Smoke is expect to increase and become more surface based on Thursday, particularly in the afternoon. If the models are accurate, we could see widespread Purple Level 5 “Very Unhealthy” and Maroon Level 6 “Hazardous” air quality levels. This would be on par with the June 2023 smoke events.)

Smoke from wildfires in Canada north of Minnesota and Michigan will increase over our area today and especially on Thursday. Air quality will decline, and could be classified as very unhealthy or hazardous. Dry weather is expected until the weekend, when showers and storms become likely.
