My beautiful and talented granddaughter Hayden has been accepted to and will be going to Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN!!!! She will be going for her Bachelors in Aviation Science: Concentration Rotor-Wing.so proud of her!

❤️ A little note from my heart…

Many people have asked why I’m selling Esther’s. The answer is simple: it’s time for my next chapter.

I have poured years of hard work, love, and a whole lot of cooking into making Esther’s a destination here on Drummond Island. I’m proud of what I’ve built, and so grateful to everyone who helped me get here.

To my family,friends, employees, customers, and this wonderful community—thank you. Some of the little kids who came through my doors are adults now! Watching them grow and sharing so many memories with you has meant more to me than I can say. You’ve become part of my story. ❤️

This decision comes with many emotions, but I’m ready to see what life has waiting for me next.

Until the restaurant sells, I’ll continue opening according to our regular seasonal schedule. So keep coming in, enjoying your favorites, and making memories with us. I still have a mortgage to pay…LOL! 😂
