For a few evenings in June 2026, three planets will share the same twilight stage.

Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury will form a beautiful planetary lineup above the western horizon, creating one of the most accessible skywatching events of the month. No telescope. No special equipment. Just three worlds shining together in the fading light of sunset.

Venus, known as the brilliant Evening Star, will dominate the scene. Below it, Jupiter will glow with its steady golden light, while elusive Mercury hugs the horizon, completing this rare celestial gathering.

What makes this event special is its simplicity: millions of miles apart, these planets appear gathered in a single corner of the sky, offering a striking reminder of the Solar System's clockwork precision.

🔭 Best time to view:
30–45 minutes after sunset

👀 How to see it:
Visible to the naked eye. Find a location with a completely unobstructed western horizon. Binoculars may help you spot Mercury before it slips below the horizon.

📍 Where to look:
Low in the western sky after sunset.

--Bonus: If you miss the peak, the trio remains visible through June 15.

--Then, from June 16–18, a delicate crescent Moon joins Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury, creating an even more photogenic four-object alignment.
