Hello Dugout Fans! It has been WAY too long! For those that don't know, we have EXCITING news to share. We purchased a small building here in Drain to bring back the Deli!! There is work to be done to get everything ready. Look for us to be coming back Spring of 2023! We can't wait to be serving the community again! We will keep you posted on progress!❤️⚾️🥪❤️

Hello Dugout Fans:
Sorry for the late update. Last month the City of Drain decided to wait and push the decision on Food Trucks to this month's meeting. While we still hope everyone goes and supports this change, even if it passes, we will not be reopening at this time. This process from the city has taken too long for us to be able to reopen right now. 2 businesses gone because of the current process. We really hope this changes for the future.
We won't be gone forever! We hope to have booths at some of the local events this summer. So we can serve you great food and work to get reopen! Keep watching the page and look for us to pop up this summer!

GOOD NEWS Dugout fans!! The City Planning commission voted to reccomend adopting the change! One step down!✔
City council meeting is next Monday February 10th at 7pm! There they will vote on adopting the ordinance!🤞🤞🥪🚛⚾️

Hello Dugout Fans!! This is what we have been waiting for!! Currently city zoning laws do not allow for food trucks. Because of that, it requires a lengthy process for a permit that can be denied! The city is now proposing changing the zoning to allow for food carts!! If this passes, it would mean The Dugout Deli can finally reopen!!😁 It will need to pass the planning commission, and then the city council. Both are public hearings.
The first one is listed in the photo for the Planning commission. Do you want The Dugout Deli food truck to open?? Do you want the possibility of other food carts opening, bringing choices and more commerce from travelers?? Come attend the meeting with us, and let your voice be heard!! Help us make it known that food trucks/carts would be an added bonus to the city of Drain!❤🚚⚾️❤

Hello Dugout Fans!! It has been too long! We promise we are still trying to get opened up again! We have run into A LOT of red tape with the city of Drain. It keeps taking longer and longer!🤦‍♀️ We are not giving up! We are determined to open back up and serve you great sandwiches and more once again! Good morning Dugout Fans! It is with VERY heavy hearts that we have to announce that we have had to close the doors of the Deli. The building has been given to another restaurant, and they will be in there next month.
We have so loved our time serving this community! To all that have continued to come in and support us, we appreciate you more than we can ever say!!
Please know, this is NOT the end of The Dugout Deli! We may have had to close this location, but we are NOT closing the business! Our social media pages will remain active. We will continue to update on the future and when we will return! We hope to see you all again when we do!🥰⚾️
