I made some Perrystead Dairy samplers for you all to try. They'll be Swede 'N Sour Bakery tomorrow inside my little fridge. Also, the Atlantis cheese is at its peak ripeness at the moment - so creamy and gooey, I literally moaned out loud when I tried it this afternoon. So, come grab yourself a wheel before they're all gone! The bakery will be open tomorrow between 8 and 2pm.

Three grown women, one suitcase full of cheese, and a trip to Fishtown. 😆 I headed to Fishtown, Philadelphia with my girlfriends on Friday for a cheese adventure at Perrystead Dairy and got to meet cheesemaker Yoav Perry and learn about his incredible cheeses. We finished the day with an unforgettable dinner at Suraya before heading home with a suitcase full of cheese. I'm excited to feature Perrystead Dairy all month long at Smokehaus Farm. Pickled Cornichons Part 2

Here are the recipe details:
Equal parts water and white wine vinegar
1 tbl kosher salt per every cup of vinegar
1/2 tbl sugar per cup of vinegar
Dill, tarragon, thyme
Mustard seed
Peppercorn

Prep your jars: put in aromatics first, then then the cucumbers. Let vinegar, water, salt and sugar come to a boil and pour over pickles. Put jars inside refrigerator. The Cornichons will be ready in 2 days. They'll stay fresh inside the fridge for about 6 weeks
