Finally Open!***

**Thank you for a great first week of opening!
We have consistently exhausted our inventory each day and are very grateful for the support we have received! We hope to keep improving quality and speed as we acclimate to our new location!

***Due to high demand at our physical location, we will be suspending all Farmers activity. We have worked to expand our quantity and are currently working with 100% capacity. We are forever grateful for the opportunities given to us by different farmers venue and hope to restart one day!! Again, we apologize for this change! Unfortunately renovations is taking a little longer than expected. Construction is very close to finish though!

Aloha folks,

We just got news that Windward mall management has decided to put the current Wednesday farmers venue(outdoor area) on hold until further notice. This comes as a sudden and surprising decision for all of us and we will update everyone as soon as word reaches us regarding the continuation or closure of the venue 😞. As of right now, this upcoming Wednesday will be the last Windward Mall event (outdoor area). We hope to see you there!

We started our restaurant over 10 years ago at Keeaumoku, not far from Gomaichi. We used to go there way before our shop. One day we got a request from Kimura-San (owner of Gomaichi) to take over his recipes. Although he got multiple offers for his recipe at much high prices, he waited for our reply. His reasoning was to have someone who loves his food and will continue to provide the same beloved ramen to the locals. This resulted in two restaurant coming together as one, renamed to Tonkatsu Sangi! Since our merger, we have combined our Tonkatsu (us) and made a mini-ramen (Gomaichi) as a teishoku set. Having our customer enjoy Gomaichi and having Gomaichi customers enjoy our Katsu. It’s been a pleasure serving everyone and we hope to continue as soon as our location is ready! Expected to open NEXT MONTH!!!

While the brick & mortar is taking shape, we will be sending our generators for maintenance next week. Catch us at Windward Mall tomorrow before that! Thank you for your patience, we’ll continue to keep you updated about the Pioneer Plaza!
