Abyss will be holding a Celebration of Life for Andrea Royko this coming Monday, August 3rd, 2026, from 6PM-9PM.

To those of you who knew Andrea, she loved her community and the fellowship this city holds. We’d like to invite you to gather in fellowship and celebrate her life with us.

Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided throughout the evening. Our bar will also be open with beverages available for purchase.

Please note that our dining room will be closed for regular dinner service as we dedicate the evening to honoring Andrea and gathering with our community.

We hope you’ll join us as we share stories, memories, and celebrate the incredible life and legacy of Andrea. 🤍

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and general manger, Andrea Royko.

Andrea was more than a leader. Her passion for hospitality, community, and dedication to her work was profound. She led with grace, kindness, and unwavering professionalism, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her over the years.

We are deeply grateful for the time we shared with her and for everything she gave to our restaurant and our community. Her legacy will continue to inspire us every day.

In the coming weeks, we will host a Celebration of Life at Abyss in Andrea’s honor. We will share the date and time as soon as those details are finalized.

Behind every beautifully plated dish is someone who truly cares, and that’s exactly who Nasly is.

A native of Colombia and one of the original kitchen team members at Abyss, Nasly has been part of our family since moving to America and has helped shape our kitchen from the very beginning.

Whether she’s working multiple stations or putting the finishing touches on our desserts, her attention to detail, dedication to learning, and unwavering work ethic shine through in everything she does. More than that, her positive attitude makes her a joy to work alongside every single day.
