Back home!

Next time you travel to Downtown Brooklyn. Check out Imani Caribbean Grill. It is on the corner of Fulton mall and Duffield. About a block or so from Macy’s. I got all this food for $21 and I cannot finish it. It’s an ox tail and jerk chicken bowl with plantain, steamed cabbage, salad, rice and peas, and you get your choice of different jerk sauces. I have pineapple jerk sauce. It also comes with a Grace Tropical Rhythms drink.

Also, I’m not leaving without a Roti. Call it nostalgia, but there is something extra special about a New York Roti and Pizza and Chinese food—every kind of food.🤣. They have good places in South Florida too. Excellent places are in South Florida, but there’s something about food from where you grew up.
