You may be familiar with the famous Pirate Night on most Disney Cruises, but did you know their Alaskan cruises feature a Frozen Day on Glacier Day? SO on theme! 🏔️

This day has For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration. Because fireworks at sea are not allowed due to wildlife restrictions in Alaska, Disney makes it snow! ❄️ So magical!

There’s also Frozen themed activities all throughout the day, such as Oaken’s Maypole Celebration in the lobby. Some guests choose to dress up in Frozen costumes in the evening…Two of my kids bounded as Olaf ☃️ and Sven 🦌 and I wore my Bruni shirt to showcase my favorite Frozen character! 🔥 You will also find the special Frozen menu at dinner.

Glacier Day on a DCL Alaska cruise….I don’t even have the words to adequately describe the emotions I felt. To be there feels like being on another planet.

I have seen so many people say pictures don’t do it justice and they are absolutely correct. To be able to see this place on Earth with my own two eyes has been one of the greatest privileges of my lifetime. Most of the day I felt like I was choking back tears because of the overwhelming beauty.

Before the ship sails out of the fjord, crew members bring a piece of the glacier onboard for passengers to touch and feel, and kids get to break off their own chunk. This is truly a day I will never forget for as long as I live.

This will be my last day in my home office until June 24th. We will be going on a thrilling adventure to Alaska! We are definitely in our Disney Cruise Line era and we are so excited!

I’ve been working on completing various Norwegian Cruise Line trainings in preparation for an upcoming tour of the beautiful Prima in July! Learning about the new prima class ships have impressed me so much and I can’t wait to see this vessel in person! Helping my besties enjoy a few park days at Disney and Epic Universe while they were in Orlando for the AllStar Cheerleading Summit was so much fun! I always enjoy helping families coordinate some bonding time at the theme parks while they are down there for sports and music events. The “P” family loved their stay at Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs!
