📢 It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that Cap’s Rt10 will remain closed permanently. Unfortunately, the sale of my store did not go as planned, and I have no other choice but to keep it closed indefinitely.

While we (my family and myself) are saddened by the closure of Cap’s Rt10, we are grateful for the memories, relationships, and experiences we have gained throughout the years. We will cherish these as we move forward.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey.

4️⃣9️⃣years ago today, June 13, 1976, my mother’s cousins, Lois and Alan Margolet, opened the very first Capriotti’s on Union Street in Wilmington, DE.

Their ingenious idea of oven-roasted turkeys and fresh turkey sandwiches, using only the highest quality ingredients, is what WE, at CAPRIOTTI’S RT10 DOVER DE, still strive to bring our customers every single day! What started as a Delaware staple, is now available in many states nationwide. We are proud of our family name, and what our family has created. The legacy that Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop has brought to our family and to the community is more than we could have ever dreamed.

To our many, many wonderful customers over the years, THANK YOU for loving our local, family-owned and operated sub shop. Capriotti’s Rt10 Dover DE is the only Cap’s left in Delaware that is owned by a member of the Capriotti family. We have the best customers, and we are so very grateful for each and every one of you.🇮🇹💚🤍❤️
